We at Healings of Atlantis are currently in the process of setting up a new charity to support the trees and honey bees.

Trees are a very important part of our environment and the world has already lost almost half of its forests today. The continued high pace of deforestation contributes greatly to climate change and the loss of biodiversity.

The UK bee population has also dramatically declined in recent years due to change in agricultural practices, the Varroa Parasite and of course the effects of climate change over the last few years.

Other causes include environmental change-related stresses, malnutrition and pesticides and migratory bee-keeping. It has been said that other possibilities may include both cell phone radiation and genetically modified crops with pest control.

Most of the world's crops depend on pollination by bees and it is therefore of paramount importance that we help to nurture our bees and increase the number of colonies both here in the UK and worldwide.

Albert Einstein once said that if the bees disappeared, man would have only four years of life left to live.
